Since two exhausts made with the same diameter tubing, and both being made with mandrel bends create "about" the same HP, that the differences are really just the look, the sound, and the lifespan. Is this an okay assumption? I'm really talking of the TT, but I'd guess that it would be the same for an NA. I've read posts of people having custom work done, even as so far as having an "X" or "double Y" pipe made. So if rust isn't a concern (Ca heh) couldn't one have an exhuast made fairly inexpensively using "regular" exhuast tubing and mandrel bends. Spring for "fancy looking" mufflers, and still have "about" the same HP as __________ (insert name brand)? I'm lost as to wear the resonators fit into the exhaust puzzle...
